Focus on CLCN Student Ministries

Unleashed is an active youth group that has something going on each and every week. You can find a list of our monthly activities in the “Youth Ministries” section and click on the “What’s Goin’ on” tab. Each week we meet from 6:45pm-8:00pm in “The Loft” of the Activity Center on the campus of Clear Lake Church of the Nazarene.
During this time the focus is learning ways to adapt our lives to the Word of God.
We then spend time hanging out, playing foosball, ping-pong, video games and other crazy group games as well.
Sunday Night Bible Study
On Sunday Nights we have a teen Bible Study where we dig deeper into the scripture. This is from 4:45-6 in the conference room near the offices in the sanctuary building. Currently, we are studying the book of Matthew.
935 Projects
In Mark 9:35 Jesus is talking to his disciples and says "If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all (ESV)." This is what 935 projects are all about. We want to serve others as Christ has called us to do. Our opportunity to serve varies each month and has included:
District Youth Events
We are also an active part of the South Texas District for the Nazarene Church which includes Nazarene churches in Houston, Austin San Antonio, Austin, Port Arthur, Corpus Christi and everywhere in between. We get together for various events with these Churches all throughout the year. For more info on the South Texas District NYI (Nazarene Youth International) go to www.southtexasnyi.org.

- Yard Cleaning - for those unable to and had no one to take care of it
- Parents Night Out - free babysitting for parents
- Ronald McDonald House - playing BINGO with children and their families
